Emergency personnel were called out to a two-vehicle crash today at the junction of KY HWY 187 and HWY 1075 that sent one woman to the hospital.
Deputies said that Leisia Landers, 47, of Brownsville was traveling on 1075 in a 2001 Ford Escape when she made a left turn to go north on 187.
Reports said that Landers then pulled into the path of and collided with Ethan Jenkins, 20, of Brownsville, who was headed south on 187.
Jenkins' 2004 Oldsmobile sustained extensive damage but he was not reported to have any injuries.
Landers was transported to TJ Sampson Hospital in Glasgow by Edmonson EMS with complaints of neck pain. The extent of her injuries were not yet known.
Responding to the scene in addition to EMS were the Edmonson County's Sheriff's Office and Bear Creek Fire Department.
