The first version of this article listed Shane Doyle number 2 on the ballot and Kenneth Heath at number 3, which was incorrect according to Alexander. The Clerk confirmed the correct order is as published in this version with Heath at number 2 and Doyle at number 3. "It was an oversight on my part and I apologize," said Alexander. "Thankfully the Edmonson Voice was able to quickly correct the information."

Domestic Disturbance Call Results In Multiple Drug and Firearm Charges Edmonson Voice Staff Report: A domestic disturbance call has led to the arrest of three Bee Spring women, who now face multiple drug and firearm charges, according to the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office. Officials said that on Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic complaint on Jock Road in Bee Spring. During the investigation, deputies said they found multiple empty bags with marijuana residue, a spoon with burn marks and drug residue, uncapped syringes, multiple firearms, and the drug Tramadol, a controlled substance. The Sheriff's Office also reported that there were also children involved, a 10-year old who had just been there, and a 9-year old, who was still at the residence. Tonya Johnson, (43) of Bee Spring, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 3rd degree (under 20 dosage units)--drug unspecified-- firearm enhanced, Possession of controlled substance--1st degree--2nd offense--firearm enhanced, Possession of a firearm by convicted felon, Tampering with physical evidence, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Beth Ann Johnson, (38) also of Bee Spring, was charged with Possession of controlled substance--3rd degree --drug unspecified, Prescription controlled substance not in proper container--1st offense, Endangering the Welfare of a minor, Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Samantha Johnson, (22) also of Bee Spring, was charged with Possession of marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Both Samantha Johnson and Beth Johnson were served arrest warrants for Criminal Mischief 1st degree from an unrelated case. All three were lodged in the Hart County Jail. Local Family Resource Center Heading Up Relief Effort For Family's Loss After Wednesday Fire2/1/2018 Second Fire in Edmonson County In One Day Darren Doyle, story and photos: Although the basic structure was saved, thanks to firefighters' efforts, a local family is in need after a house fire in the 600 block of Henry Meredith Road. The Wingfield, Chalybeate, Rocky Hill, and Brownsville Fire Departments responded around 5pm on January 31, 2018 to what was first paged out as a field fire with burning hay. According to emergency radio traffic, the call was updated to inform that the field fire had now spread to the house. For the most part, firefighters were able to keep the structure standing but most everything inside was lost of heavily damaged from smoke and water. The South Edmonson and EC 5/6 Center Family Resources have reported that the family living in the home are in immediate need. They are in search of the following items:
