![]() Police need your help in recovering some stolen property from the Chalybeate area from multiple thefts that have occurred during the last couple weeks. The Sheriff's Department says that Tommy Stewart, a local contractor, reported his enclosed 16ft cargo trailer loaded with tools and construction equipment stolen from a job site in the Lake Forest subdivision. Total value of the property was $11,000. Police are also working a case of a stolen "Razor" ATV, from the residence of Mark Wilson, 2200 Chalybeate School Road. The vehicle is similar to the photo below, with custom molded doors and a front bumper. ![]() The Sheriff's Department has also reported a burgundy, early 90's Kawasaki Brute Force four-wheeler from the residence of John Bewley, only 1/2 from the other ATV incident. If you have any information on these thefts, or if you've seen these items, please call the Sheriff's office at 270-597-2157. Sheriff-Elect Shane Doyle says to always make sure your property is secured. "Trailers need to be locked at the doors and hitch when unattended, and it's not recommended to leave tools and equipment on job sites."
