Driver In Fatal Hart County Crash Facing More Murder Charges

Manuel Crespo, 27, Upton, KY. (Hart Co. Jail)

On Tuesday March 1, 2016, the case involving a fatal collision that occurred in Bonnieville on February 13, 2016, causing the death of Mary Haycraft (50) and Jason Ferguson (39), was presented to the Hart County Grand Jury where they returned an Indictment on 27 year old Manuel Crespo charging him with the following offenses:

• ​Murder (2 counts)
• Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (3 counts)
• Leaving the Scene of Accident
• Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence Alcohol/Drugs (Aggravating Circumstance) 1st Offense
• No Operators License
• Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense
• Possession of Open Alcohol Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle Prohibited
