![]() Edmonson Voice Staff Each year, the Edmonson County Fiscal Court and Scott Waste Management host a "County Wide Clean Up" event, where dumpsters are provided at no charge at each community fire department. Mike Clubb, Kyrock Fire Chief and event coordinator, said this year's event was another success, even though there were a couple of incidents of people not following the rules by either throwing their trash on the ground or dumping past the deadline. "We're always going to have a few issues with some who don't follow the rules, but nothing that can't be handled," Clubb said. "We usually get a few gripes, but you just can't please everybody." He said 43 dumpsters were filled county-wide and that 79 tons of trash and junk were hauled out. "I think it's a good thing for the county and hopefully the event will continue to keep it a little cleaner."

I would like to thank Judge Cannon, the fiscal court, Mike Club, Scott Waste Company, and all those responsible for helping to set up this trash collection program, and for making it free to the residents of Edmonson County. Great service to us all.
