Edmonson County Schools will see a new addition, thanks to the swearing-in of a new school resource officer.
On Wednesday, September 1st, Deputy Josh Langlois was sworn in by District Judge JB Hines. According to a statement from the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Langlois will begin next week as an additional school resource officer for our county.
He began his career as a Nashville Metro Policeman, and moved with his family to Edmonson County a few years ago.
“We are very excited to have Deputy Langlois join our office," said Sheriff Shane Doyle. "Experienced officers are hard to find, and we consider ourselves very blessed to have found Josh. I know he will be an asset to our agency, our schools, and our community.”
