Shooting At Moutardier Marina Area: Suspect On The Run, Victim in Critical Condition

The Edmonson County Sheriff's Office has reported a shooting at the Moutardier Marina cabins with the suspect on the run.

According to Sheriff Shane Doyle, the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting incident at Moutardier around 11:30am today. Doyle reported that the suspect, Wesley Roberts, (33) of Leitchfield fled the scene to another cabin but has since left the scene. 

The female victim, who has not yet been identified, has been air lifted to Louisville with at least two gunshot wounds and is listed in critical condition.  According to the Sheriff's Office, the domestic incident escalated into violence between Wesley Roberts and either an estranged wife or girlfriend.

Sheriff Doyle said they found the shotgun that is suspected to have been used in the incident but that Roberts has yet to be located.

The suspect was reportedly driving a silver, 2015 GMC pickup with a black primer hood.
