Darren Doyle, story: A Sweeden man has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including trafficking meth and cocaine. In a press release, the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office stated that on September 26, 2025, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Dodge sedan that was observed traveling recklessly on Veterans Memorial Highway with only one operational headlight around 11PM. The driver was identified as Raymond Seabolt, (46), of Sweeden. Through investigation, Seabolt disclosed the possible presence of illegal narcotics within the vehicle, according to the sheriff's office. Canine unit Tatiana was deployed and gave a positive indication near the passenger side door, which led to a probable cause search of the vehicle that resulted in the discovery of suspected trafficking quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine, a 9mm handgun, and multiple items commonly associated with the trafficking of illegal drugs, the sheriff's office stated.
Seabolt was arrested, taken into custody without incident, and transported to the Hart County Jail. He was charged with:
