Edmonson Voice Staff, photos courtesy of ECSO A two vehicle accident on Morgantown Road sent three people to the hospital yesterday around 12:30 in the afternoon. Police reported that both Sydney Sabash, 18, of Clarksville, TN, who was driving a black 2012 Honda, and Felicia Willis, 41, of Windyville, driving a 2009 Dodge SUV were traveling west on Morgantown Road (KY HWY 70). Police also said that Sabash turned onto Patton Road but quickly made a U-Turn in an attempt to go back in the direction from which she came. Police reported that she drove into the path of Willis, who was traveling behind her, and both vehicles collided. Police said that both vehicles exited the roadway and came to rest in a barbed wire fences. According to officials, both the driver and passenger of the Honda and the passenger of the Dodge were transported to Bowling Green by the Edmonson County EMS for possible injuries. Information regarding the condition of those in the accident was not available.
Also responding to the scene was the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office and the Bear Creek Fire Department.
