Edmonson Voice Staff Report: A Leitchfield man was arrested on Sunday and faces meth trafficking and other charges after a traffic stop, according to a press release from the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office. The release said that around 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2020, an Edmonson County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a 2006 Ford Mustang on KY HWY 259 N near Bee Spring Lumber Company, due to a cancelled license plate for failure to maintain insurance. According to the Sheriff's Office, a probable cause search of the vehicle was performed by the deputy where suspected crystal methamphetamine, suspected methamphetamine, and suspected marijuana, along with several different forms of drug paraphernalia were found.
