Darren Doyle, story: A routine traffic stop resulted in two felony arrests Friday night after law enforcement say they found what appeared to be meth and drug related items inside the vehicle. Edmonson County Sheriff deputies reported that they stopped a 1998 Ford pickup at the Lincoln Country Corner, located at the intersection of Stockholm and Nolin Dam Road for multiple traffic violations. According to the Sheriff's Office, the driver of the vehicle Aaron Murphy, (35) of Munfordville had a suspended license. A probable cause search of the vehicle produced drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine, according to officials. Murphy was charged with Improper display of registration plate, Operating on a suspended license, Drug paraphernalia, and Possession of controlled substance- 1st degree- 1st offense - meth.
The passenger, Heather Milby, (38) of Magnolia was charged with Possession of controlled substance -1st degree -meth and Drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in Hart county jail. Deputies were assisted on scene by Edmonson County Animal Control and Edmonson County Jailers.

now thats funny dont care who ya are, dont wanna pay for our sheriffs budget so we send the Animal Control out lol now thats funny

You can thank your magistrates for that. They'd do away with animal control too if it wasnt a law that said we had to have it.

Though it is not in the story, the reason Animal Control was there was to secure, and provide shelter for, the dog that the couple had with them when they were stopped and eventually arrested.
