Edmonson Voice Staff Report:
An early morning traffic stop has resulted in two drug trafficking arrests, according to the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office.
According to a press release from the Sheriff, deputies stopped a vehicle on Veterans Memorial Hwy they said was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Deputies reported that after obtaining consent to search the vehicle, they located an open bottle of vodka, various pipes commonly used to smoke illicit substances, and multiple baggies containing suspected methamphetamine.

The passenger, Christopher S. Durbin, age 31 of Leitchfield, was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Deg. Both were lodged in the Hart County Jail.
