I know you're a conservative guy, sometimes even a bit libertarian. You write often about power to the people, letting them make up their own minds, etc. I read here in the news that the county is thinking about adding a couple of new taxes. You've complained about taxes before, do you think these taxes are fair?

Dear You Don't Know Me,
Follow that by snapping in a "Z" formation. I went to college, hung out with other college kids, even went to a few college parties. Every now and then the party host would ask everyone to pitch in to pay for the liquid entertainment. I never pitched in a dime. "But I thought you didn't like freeloaders!", you are correct, but I also did not drink.  Now if the hat were passed for pizza I gave my fair share. Since the government doesn't produce anything, the money to fund it and it's many entities must come from somewhere--you and me.  Personally outside of the military and currency, I don't want to fund any other government entities with blanket tax money.  I don't mind funding a library even if I've never checked out a book, but I've never had an abortion or recommend one, and abhorrently our money goes to them. I would love to pick and choose where every penny goes. On a federal level I cannot, on a local level we do have influence and I suggest you let your voice be heard. If they don't listen, dump all the tea into the Green River and start a revolution, I'll be right there beside you.
