Do We Want Our Kids Growing Up In A Country Where Trump Won?

Dear Mongoose,
I don't know how many kids you have but I've read where you have some. Is a Donald Trump-led country the type of place you want your kids growing up in? I know I don't want my kids growing up in that.

I don't know how old you are but let's assume you're between the ages of 20-50. Chances are, your childhood was easier than your parents' and no comparison to your grandparents' childhoods. I can remember stories from my grandparents, they didn't have electricity growing up, didn't have cars growing up, worked from sun-up to sun-down as soon as they were big enough to walk, and chances are they had it easier than their parents.  I do worry about my children growing up in the climate we live in (not weather, the moral climate) but their childhood will be a cakewalk compared to previous generations. As a parent, it is my job to teach them right from wrong and shield them from things I don't want them exposed to until they are capable of handling it themselves. On top of all this, compared to the rest of the world the ole United States of America is still my first choice and if you feel otherwise, I hear several celebrities are moving; might hitch a ride with them if you don't like it.
