Intolerable Tolerance

Dear "Advice Columnist" (I refuse to address you by your ridiculous pen name),
I just want to let you know that I find your column to be narrow, reactionary, and very insulting to myself and the majority of Americans. You are the perfect stereotypical, right-wing conspiracist that my college professors warned me about. It's people like you that give America a bad name and I cringe each time I see that the Edmonson Voice has published your column. I was raised in Edmonson County but thankfully I was blessed enough to go to college, get an education, and move out of that god-forsaken place. I follow this hilarious site to see which of my classmates is the latest to have been arrested. You continue to contribute to the fall of that ancient place, which is destined for failure no matter what.

Dear Dear Reader,
Let me first extend a heartfelt thank you for reading my column.  Let me also define narrow minded: not willing to listen to or tolerate other people's views; prejudiced.  So your words said myself and column, and I quote, were "very insulting to myself and the majority of Americans. You are the perfect stereotypical, right-wing conspiracist that my college professors warned me about. It's people like you that give America a bad name". Again, your words, not mine.  I see very little tolerance in this statement and plenty of prejudice. Being principled is markedly different than being narrow minded. If more Americans were principled in their beliefs, college professors like yours could spend more time educating and less time indoctrinating.  If you disagree with my principles, great!  That at least means you have some of your own.  If you disagree with my opinions, by all means debate me. If you feel that your forsaken EC is destined for failure, then do something to save it from such. It is obvious you care or you wouldn't read the Edmonson Voice and certainly would not take time to write a question to me, Mongoose, principled, conservative, and the person college professors warned you about.
