Dear mongoose,
There is something that has been on my mind heavy since Easter. Maybe I'm mean or wrong but it still bothers me. We had sunrise service at church and maybe had 50-60 people. Later on at Sunday School we had closer to 100 and 2/3 of the kids there I'd never seen before. Should this bother me? Dear Egg Allergy, I wonder what the workers at the Peeps factory do the rest of the year? No doubt they're in a union with Paas egg coloring workers, dreading Easter like a fruit cake assemblyman does at Christmas. The age old question is, do you risk running someone off permanently or hope they see or hear something that potentially could bring them back? Not unlike the Homecoming eaters that show up only to eat all of Aunt LuLu's green bean casserole, they're missing out on the most fulfilling part of the day. Be courteous, welcoming, and invite them back to church service. Other than switching services up next Easter and not telling anyone, egg hunt at 6, church at Sunday School time, that's about all you can do without running them off. Can't let it bother you, nobody is perfect-- which is why Easter is celebrated anyway.
