Dear Mongoose,
What ever happened to good television? It seems like the only thing on anymore is reality tv, why is that? Dear Roger Ebert, Ahh, the boob tube, idiot box, magic picture receiver and so on, it ain’t what it used to be. Whether you’re watching the news or watching two dudes get married it is no longer about escaping reality to immerse yourself into imaginative worlds filled with cowboys, orange cars or special agents, television has become a huge propaganda tool reaching millions of viewers who’s only sense of reality is what has been force fed to them. The way I see it most people live half a life—one half is spent watching “reality tv” or doing something for the sole intention of posting it on SpaceBook then reading about someone elses half life. You only have “One Life to Live”, why waste half your time trying to keep up with the Kardashians when you could be experiencing reality for real. Reality and TV-- unless its sports there is no reality on TV. These are the “Days of our Lives”. We'll See ya, Mongoose
