Dear Mongoose,
Do you think that the NCAA along with NBA and other major organizations were justified in canceling big events in the state of North Carolina for what they said was discrimination against the LGBT community? Dear That's A Lot of Acronyms, I remember the good ole days when you watched sports to see the sports, athletes played the sports and outside of endorsing a set of shoes you didn't hear much out of them. News flash, them days are over. You have players kneeling, cities boycotted, and governing bodies of said sports making political statements every time you turn around. You don't see me entering the slam dunk contest and likewise, I'd like to see sports stay out of politics. Besides all that, I don't want a man that's plumbed like a man sharing the bathroom with my young daughters. For that I applaud North Carolina and common sense. Michael Jordan and Tim Tebow playing baseball is ok, NBA, NCAA playing politics is not ok. -MG
