Dear Mongoose,
I was flipping through the radio the other day on the way to work and heard the same "country" song on 3 different stations at the same time. 2 of the 3 stations were Pop stations. You're supposed to be a country guy, how do you cope? Dear Bro Country, The old saying goes if you play a country song backwards you get your wife and dog back, nowadays you let DJ Snoop Jazzy Dre Z rap over it and you get 2 for one. I feel your pain, my friend. Commercial music has one goal: sell commercial airtime. If a station can appeal to both pop and country audiences at once, they've doubled their advertising exposure. It's a huge conspiracy: music producers, label executives and probably the Free Masons are in on it. You have a few options to hear real music on your daily commute. Satellite Radio, Internet Radio and CD's or MP3's. The advantages are two fold, you'll hear your type of music, and in most cases, skip out on the commercials that are remotely controlling your mind.
