Why do you think the media is sensationalizing all the LGBT rights and Bruce Jenner stuff? I don't understand why it has to be such a big deal. if they want to get married then why not? We don't have to advocate it, we don't have to like it, but why can't we all just live our own lives and move on? Why do we have to constantly be in people's business and trying to control them? 
I personally don't agree with gay marriage but I'm not against it either. I'm neutral because its not my place to say anything fro or against it. It's really nobody's place at all. If I want someone to respect me and my religion shouldn't I be expected to respect them and their religion or lack of as well. It's a two way street. And as far as the whole religion argument goes I've read the bible and it says nothing against gays at all in the new testament. The reason I bring up the new testament is because when people use the bible argument and someone says to them "well the bible also says not to wear mixed fabric, not to eat pork, fish, etc." they say its because we are supposed to live by the old testament. well if that the case then you really cant use the bible to argue against gay marriage because nothing is said against it in the new testament. It's just a constant circle and I don't understand why. 
Sorry for the rant but I wanted to get across the root of the question I'm asking, which is why can't we just stay out of each others business?
