Hey Mongoose
So the time changed recently, and I'm all messed up. How do you feel about it? Dear Watch and Learn, Time changes, Leap Year, No Shave November-- I can't keep up with it nowadays. Here's what I don't get, in the northern hemisphere the days are shorter this time of year and will continue to get shorter till they get longer, which means it gets darker sooner and lighter later. So who's idea was it to let it get dark at 4:30 in the afternoon? I've heard everything from school buses to movie theaters all had a hand in it. Well, actually, it was ole Ben Franklin's idea but didn't get implemented until WW1 in an effort to save energy by allowing workers to utilize natural light which I assume is where the "savings" comes in with "daylight savings time". I'm all about saving money but it is frustrating to reset your internal clock and with so many factories working 3 shifts I don't see any savings these days. About all you can do is write your legislature but I wouldn't rip the knob off your watch just yet.
