Hey Mongoose,
I see the tv weather men gettin all tore up and trying to scare people to death, whether it be a blizzard or a tornado. Why do they get so out of breath when they think a snow flake will fall? I think the Voice's weather reports are a whole lot better what do you think? Dear Local on the 8's Back in college I worked in a factory. Every single day it was the same old mindless task for 10 hours straight. Occasionally, a line would break down and it reminded me of a snow day, tornado drill, or other monotony breaker. I imagine the weather man feels the same way. "Monday high 45, low 32, Tuesday high 45, low 32, Wednesday: let me loosen my tie and raise the price of my Purity stocks! Snow! Snow! Snow!" Suddenly the weather man is the ShamWow guy. I find it so comical that even when the forecast is 180 degrees (pun intended) from reality I've never once heard a weather man apologize or give an excuse for being wrong. The Edmonson Voice weather is as good as any and the truth is, they are all just predictions-- or in other words-- guesses.
