Wha? My Free Phone Ain't Got No Touchscreen?

I overheard a conversation the drive thru girl at Arby's was having with the girl at the cash register. She was laughing how she got a cell phone through her food stamps. This girl was probably 30 or so, had tattoos on her arms, hands, and neck. What really got me was that she said, "It didn't even have a touch screen!" Then, laughing, she claimed she asked the phone rep, "what am I supposed to do with this piece of sh--?!" If you can buy tattoos, then you can buy your own food and phone with a touchscreen!! What's happened to America??

I heard a man tell his daughter after her opening a birthday present disgusted, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth", she looked at him and said she never asked for a horse. She is probably around that age now, might have been her.  As the saying goes, "Easy come, easy go", appreciation and entitlements are usually at odds.  I'll tell you what's wrong with America, there is a severe shortage of two things: belts and work gloves.
