When Did Dukes of Hazzard Become A Hazard?

What bout it Mongoose,
I consider myself a redneck, I am not a racist or backwards just country. I grew up watching Dukes of Hazzard and just heard it got pulled off the air. What gives?

Dear Lost Sheep,
Honestly I haven't been this upset since they tore down the waving clown on the Bypass. My wife tells me all the time that "it is my choice to let things upset me". I can choose not to let the plug being pulled on my favorite show of all time upset me and conversely, others can choose to not be upset over a flag painted on the roof of a car, a sports mascot in a headdress, or a cartoon of a pedophile "prophet". For that matter, others can choose whether to get upset over what they deem as bigoted hate speech, published in a small town online newspaper (looking forward to them). 


Countries are going bankrupt, California is running out of water, the Middle East is erupting and folks are being burned alive, drowned, beheaded and worse for being Christian, gay, or witches. There are so many other things to be upset over than an old flag. First world problems; reminds me of a preschool playground..."Johnny said my shoes weren't cool", "Jenny said my hair was poofy", "Carl breathed on me". I'm not trying to belittle anyone and their convictions, but last time I checked --most Americans have water, are not bankrupt, haven't been beheaded, and guess what? my ancestors were in this country long before Columbus and I could care less if the Redskins are the Redskins.
