Darren Doyle, story: Some of the most popular events from the annual Big Brownsville Bash, presented by the Edmonson County Chamber of Commerce, have been rescheduled for a fun-filled day in Brownsville. The annual Rafferty's Car Show and Patton Funeral Home Vendor Fair have been rescheduled for Saturday, August 17th, at the Community Center and Courthouse Square in Brownsville. The Fireworks Finale will also be held on that night (weather permitting) at the HWY 70 Ballpark, in conjunction with the Edmonson County Fiscal Court. FOR UPDATED VENDOR SHOW BOOTH INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL 270-270-991-6836. "You'll notice that we're having another Vendor Fair, even though that event wasn't cancelled on the original date of June 1st, where the other events were canceled due to heavy rain," said Josh Casey, Vice President of the Chamber Board. "The weather really hurt the crowd that day and since the Homemakers were able to help us again, we thought it would be nice if could give it another try."
Casey also thanked the Edmonson County Fiscal Court for their assistance in rescheduling the fireworks display that is expected to bring a big crowd out in Brownsville on that Saturday night. The Kayak and Canoe Challenge is rescheduled for Saturday, September 7th.
