Seniors Relive Childhood Activities on Last Week of School Edmonson Voice Report: The graduating class of Edmonson County High School celebrated their upcoming graduation this past Friday with a fun-filled Senior Field Day. The event, hosted by the Wildcat Initiative, allowed seniors to enjoy one final day of childhood fun before beginning their next chapter of life. Throughout the afternoon, students participated in traditional field day activities, games, and friendly competitions. The seniors also enjoyed inflatables, water activities, and other exciting attractions designed to make the day memorable for the Class of 2026. Lunch was generously provided for the students by SGT Aaliyah Dell with the Army National Guard. Additionally, ECHS administration partnered with the Local Lemon truck to provide the seniors with a free drink as an extra treat. Senior Field Day would not have been possible without the support and generosity of local sponsors and donors. Wildcat Initiative sponsor Mrs. Kelsey Highbaugh would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to every individual and business that contributed to the event, making it a rousing success.
“We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a supportive community. Edmonson County showed up for our kids in a big way, and I can’t begin to express how grateful we are for every single donation. Thank you all for helping give our seniors one last childhood experience before we send them off to the real world!” said Mrs. Highbaugh. Senior Field Day 2026 Sponsors
