South Central Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, Inc. (SCRTC) is partnering with the Edmonson County Public Library for a free cyber security "lunch and learn" event.
According to SCRTC, cyber security is one of the main threats in society today, and that threat can pop up anywhere at any time. “There are some simple yet very effective measures that can be put into place to help protect against cyber security attacks,” Said SCRTC System Administrator Matt Burnett. Burnett will lead the class on Wednesday, April 29th at the Edmonson County Public Library. This Cyber Security class will be held 11 am to 12:30 pm and will include a complimentary lunch. Registrations are required and are open to the public by contacting the library via phone. Participants are welcome to bring their laptops or simply come and learn.
