Edmonson Voice Report: Two local women were recently added to the Bank of Edmonson County Board of Directors at the annual stockholders meeting. Judy Russell and JoAnn Cassady were unanimously elected to serve with the existing seven board members by the stockholders. Mrs. Judy Russell began her career at the bank in September of 1976 as a bookkeeper and soon moved to the teller line. In her time with the Bank she served as Assistant Cashier of Deposits, Teller Supervisor, Assistant Vice President and New Accounts Officer, and then retired as Senior Vice President. She retired from Bank of Edmonson County December 27, 2016 after 40 years of dedicated service. Mrs. JoAnn Cassady began her career at the bank in August of 1976 as a bookkeeper and soon moved to the teller line. As a member of the Bank's team, she served as Assistant Cashier for the Note Department, Compliance Officer, Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer, and then retired as Senior Vice President. After 44 years of faithful service, she retired from Bank of Edmonson County December 24, 2020.
