![]() Anna Janell Logsdon Durbin, 92, of Sunfish passed away at 4:13 AM Dec. 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and did a great deal of volunteer work, including at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Brownsville. She had a kind and generous spirit, which made her a wonderful wife, mother, friend and neighbor. She was a daughter of the late Christopher "Kit" Logsdon and Eliza Durbin Logsdon and the wife of the late Estill Durbin. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Mathias and Jane Devine; five brothers, Elmer, Daniel "Tuck", Martin, Paul and Jake Logsdon; a sister, Mary Logsdon; and three grandchildren, Carrie Durbin, Ryan Durbin and Katie Simon. Funeral will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was a life-long member, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Monday, 9 AM-8 PM Tuesday and after 9 AM Wednesday at the church. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Lou Wilson (Randall) and Paula Wilson (Estel) both of Sunfish and Carolyn Simon (Don) of Bowling Green; six sons, Steve Durbin, Raymond Durbin (Debbie) and Dennis Durbin (Shelia) all of Sunfish, Harold Durbin of Yucaipa, CA, Pat Durbin of Roundhill and Joe Durbin (Marjean) of Chalybeate; two sisters, Liz Logsdon of Bowling Green and Lina Oberhaus of Iowa; 26 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.
