Elza Elmore and Mona Brooks Elmore and was married to the late Robert S. Cannon, Sr. She cared for her family as a homemaker, and was also a member of Wingfield United Baptist Church. He was born on April 22, 1947 in Clarkson, KY to the late Callie and Sudie Mae (Boone) Jones and was married to Diane Woosley Jones, who survives. He graduated from Clarkson High School, Class of 1966. He was inducted into the Army soon after, and served our country for two years-- one of which was in Vietnam. He worked for Leitchfield Transfer as a truck driver for over 25 years. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed. Donald is survived by his loving and devoted wife Dorothy Skaggs; two sons Donald (Shirley) Skaggs and Jeffrey Skaggs; grandchildren Donald “Trey” (Joanne) Skaggs, Brian (Lisa) Skaggs, Kellie (Brian) Meeks, and Joshua Skaggs; ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Donald served his country proudly with the Army Air Corp. during World War II receiving the Purple Heart. He was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a senior logistician after 38 years of dedicated service. He was a longtime member and past deacon at Fairborn First Baptist Church. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. Donald was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who love him. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Kinkade. Vicki was a graduate of Western Kentucky University where she received her Masters degree and Rank I, and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a retired teacher at Simpson County High School, and was a devoted teacher who loved her students, and they loved her in return. She took them to many state competitions. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Lindseyville, KY. She was also an avid crossword puzzle worker. Survivors include her husband, Lowell Hammers of Bowling Green, KY; son, John Hammers (Tammy) of Bowling Green, KY; brother, Teddy Kinkade (Carolyn), Lindseyville, KY; grandsons, Jacob Hammers and James Hammers of Bowling Green, KY; nieces, Ashley Griffith and Julie Howard; nephews, Matt Kinkade and Josh Kinkade.
