Timothy A. Webb, 59, of Franklin passed away at 9:39 PM Thursday Jan. 28, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a 1980 graduate of Edmonson County High School, a construction worker, a US Marine Corps veteran and a member of Brownsville General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Charles Ray Webb and Linda Lou James Webb of Brownsville, who survives. A public walk-through visitation will be held 4-7 PM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home. Mable Christine Priddy Childress, 89, of Mammoth Cave passed away at 5:25 AM Wednesday Jan. 27, 2021 at Edmonson Center.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of Union Light Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Dock Priddy and Ethel Brown Priddy. She was preceded in death by two sons, Garry Childress and Glenn Childress; a grandson, Keith Childress; four sisters, Thelma Logan Harrison, Irene Vincent, Virginia Meredith and Geneva Wilson; and two brothers, Orel Priddy and Oren Priddy. Fredrick Lionell Harrod, 82 of Oakland died Sunday, January 24 at the Medical Center.
The Edmonson County native was a son of the late Harry Curtis Harrod and Bennett Marie Luttrell and is preceded in death by a brother, Merle Harrod. He was an inspector for General Motors, a member of Three Forks Church of Christ and served in the Army Reserve and U S Navy. His survivors include his wife Kathleen "Pat" Cowles Harrod; four children, Patty Pedigo, Debbie Lewis (Larry), Janette Luttrell and Lisa Burgett; seven grandchildren, Leann Watkins, Chris Burgett (Carrie), Danielle Cole (Cody), Amy Neurohr, Justin Hester, Gary Pedigo, Matthew Burgett; 13 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one sister, Becky West; one sister-in-law, Rhonda Harrod and several nephews. Vonn Parsley, age 73 of Park City, departed this life on January 25, 2021 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born on February 13, 1947 in Jefferson County to the late Nilard Vonhurst Parsley, Sr., and Virginia Nally Parsley, who survives. He was married to his devoted wife of fifty-three years, Judy Deckard Parsley, who also survives.
Vonn retired after thirty years with Southern States. In most recent years, he drove a feed truck. He was a former mayor of Park City and served as a current city commissioner for over twenty years. He was a deacon of Park City Baptist Church, and a member of Park City Masonic Lodge #934 F&AM. Vonn was a lifelong lover of horses, a collector of junk and a loyal Tennessee Vols fan. Besides his wife and mother, he leaves to honor his memory—one daughter, Gina Parsley Hurt (Keith) of Park City; three grandchildren, Miranda Hurt Bonifay (Cody), Tristan Hurt and Jared Hurt; two great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Silas Bonifay and a host of friends. Lorene enjoyed working in her garden and teaching her grandchildren to cook and can vegetables. She was very creative and the family seamstress for special occasions and costumes. Sam worked as a district conservationist with the USDA Soil Conservation Service. He was saved on March 30, 1975 at Pleasant Union United Baptist Church, and later moved his membership to Oak Grove United Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death. Sam was a kind man, adored his family and being a Pappy more than anything. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Regnal Meredith and Perry Veldon Meredith; and a sister, Eva Tomes. A public walk-through visitation will take place 4-7 PM Monday at Gravil Funeral Home. All other services will be private due to COVID-19 protocols. Burial will take place in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Anderson W. "Woody" Bullock; two brothers, Dallas Meredith (Nell) of Brownsville and Larry Meredith of Poplar Springs; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mable Frances Toms Stice, age 91 of Bowling Green, departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Signature Health Care of Hart County. The Barren County native was born on September 2, 1929 to the late M.C. and Annie B. Coffey Toms. She was married to Paul Edward Stice, who preceded her in death.
Mable attended WKU and worked at Bowling Green Independent Schools as a substitute teacher and aide. She also owned and operated Knotty Krafts in Park City and Wondering Woods. She was a homemaker and a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She leaves to honor her memory-- two children, Debra Jones (Charlie) of Vine Grove and Rodney Stice (Carmen) of Lexington; five grandchildren, Kegan Flum (Mark), Jason Stice (Yvonne), Allison Allgood (Chris), Austin Jones (Tiffany), Paul Stice; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Anne Poynter; a sister-in-law, Patsy Toms; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Katie Toms, Lendon Toms, Jessie Toms, Betty Nealy and Hurshel Toms.
