Jocie Anderson Kidwell, 93 of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab.
The Cumberland County native was a daughter of the late Richard and Hattie Hopper Anderson and is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Kidwell and two great grandchildren. She was a seamstress for 32 years at Fruit of the Loom and a member of Martinsville Baptist Church. Her survivors include her son Larry Kidwell (Linda); two daughters, Donna Kidwell and Dana Hunt (Ken); four grandchildren, Cory Wells, Matt Kidwell (Trenda), Ashley Smith and Jennifer Kidwell Sheffield (Neil); seven great grandchildren; one brother, Hall Anderson (Joyce); two sisters, Stella Jordan and Willa Hayes; several nieces and nephews. He was in Korea on the DMZ during the Vietnam Era as an Army veteran. While in the Army he served 8 years in the Infantry and 12 years in the Air Defense afterwards he retired from Houchens Industries. He was a member Rowletts Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling, fishing and anything he could do to spend time with family and friends.
