Yvonne “Bonnie “ Arterburn, age 81, of Park City, KY, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 in Horse Cave. The Park City native was born on November 2, 1934 to the late Lawrence “Shorty” and Florence Arterburn. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Audrey Bartley and Joyce Hogan and nephew, Jimmy Bartley.
She was a retired staff psychologist for the State of Illinois. She leaves behind her nieces, Sherry Poff (Brent), Apex, NC and Pamela Hogan of Park City; two nephews, Jeff Hogan (Cheryl) and John L. He was a faithful member of Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church and also belonged to the Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM. Phil was saved at Kyrock and truly loved his church and his family. He was a true friend and neighbor. He leaves to honor his memory his wife, Carol Stewart Lindsey of Bee Spring; two daughters, Laura Cunningham (Warren) of Chalybeate and Leanne Pierce (Kyle) of Bee Spring; three grandchildren, Lilly and Evan Cunningham and Kylen Pierce; his mother, Gitana Lindsey, his mother-in-law, Mary Ann Stewart of Bee Spring and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Rita Raymer. Interment will be in Sweeden Cemetery.
