She was a sales clerk for Roses Department Store. Doyle, affectionately known as Nettie Faye, 68, of Danville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at her home with family by her side.
She was born on Friday, November 7, 1952, to the late James Alvin (Mood) Massey and Alta Mae Cardwell Massey in Huff, Kentucky. She married her husband of 49 years, James (Jimmy) Doyle on April 21, 1971. They were blessed with two children, Clevette and Shawn. Jeanetta was the small business owner of Guys and Gals Styling Salon in her Danville home for many years. She enjoyed the opportunity to style many friends and community member’s hair while also being at home for her children. She was welcoming to all with her beautiful, bright smile. She put everyone around at ease with her positive and calm demeanor. She loved her family and devoted her life to them by always choosing family first. She loved spending time on her front porch swing, gardening, and caring for her many flowers. She was a cat lover and was known to put food out for all of the neighborhood pets. She dearly loved her grandchildren. Her house was always a welcomed second home to them. Jeanetta was known as an amazing cook and always had sweets available for all to share. Jerry Lee Hudson, 69, was born on January 8, 1951 in Bowling Green, Ky. He was the son of Hubert and Lola Hudson. Jerry has one older sister, Elaine Meinhardt and two younger sisters, Teresa Marie Kelian and Sheila Gail Madison. He had two half brothers, Eldon (Porky) Hudson and Edison Hudson.
In 1966, Jerry attended a revival at the Delafield United Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky. He was brought under conviction during the preaching of Brother Junior Skaggs and was saved on the mourner's bench at the front of the church. He was baptized into the church which later moved and became Mount Zion Baptist Church in Warren County where he remained a faithful member until his death. Jerry became the sole supporter of his mother and sisters at the age of sixteen, feeding, clothing and defending them with unconditional love and courage. He lived with and supported his mother until her death. He doted on his many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a man, cheerful, honest and reliable in all weathers. He has gone home. Visitation will be at Mount Zion United Baptist Church on November 7, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 with burial the following day, Sunday, November 8 at 11:00 am in the church cemetery. She was a member of the Kimper Church of God. She is survived by her sons, Mike Ramsey (Patty) of Chalybeate, KY, Glen Ray Ramsey (Sharon) of Clarkson, KY; daughter, Nancy Kiper (Otis) of Leitchfield; a son-in-law, Brock Brocato of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three nieces, Maryllis, Ruth and Vicki and her friend and caregiver Cassandra Jaggers.
