Barbara Ann Clark, age 77 of Louisville, departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. The Edmonson County native was born on June 26, 1948 to the late Dewey Paul and Hazel Vincent Lashley. She was married to her devoted husband, James E. “Jimmy” Clark, Sr., until they were parted by his passing.
Barbara devoted her life to nurturing her family, creating a loving and supportive home as a dedicated homemaker. She was a cherished member of Poplar Spring United Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched those around her. In her moments of rest, Barbara found joy in the pages of a good book, the timeless stories of western films, and friendly games on her iPad, embracing each day with warmth, curiosity, and a caring spirit. She leaves to honor her memory— her son, James E. Clark, Jr. (Kathleen) of Canmer; grandchildren, Kimberly Rhodes (Brandy), Therissie Clark (Tyler Hobbs), Sarah Clark (Brandon Burdsall), Zander, Logan, Aydan and Lillian Clark; great-grandchildren, Killian and Liam Burdsall and her brother, Garry Lashley (Susan). Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her infant sisters, Linda, Vickie and Betty Lashley. The interment will be in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.
