Beverly Wells, age 73

Beverly Wells, age 73 of Park City, departed this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. The Haywood native was born on September 3, 1950 to the late Rodman and Alta Short.

She was married to her devoted husband of fifty-five years, Bro. H. Wayne Wells.

Beverly was a member of Woodland United Baptist Church, and God blessed her with a beautiful voice to sing in the choir. She previously worked for over twenty years with Barren County Board of Education. Beverly loved the Lord, her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family above all.

Besides her husband, she leaves to honor her memory-- her children, Tonya Barrick (Billy) of Smiths Grove, Tony Wells (Tammy) of Austin and Brian Wells (Candy) of Hiseville; grandchildren, Dylan Wells, Andrew Carter (Bethany), Chelsey Sherfey (Dustin), McKenzie Wells (Patrick), Kassady Wells, Morgan Eatmon (Gabriel), Brooklyn Kendall (Chase), Hunter Browning, Keeper Browning, Zeb Pedigo and Jacob Barrick; great-grandchildren, Waylon and Wyatt Sherfey, Emma Grace Carter, Maverick Eatmon, Maitlin, Grayson and Garrett Norris, and brothers, Jimmy Short (Joyce), Billy Short (Carlotta) and Donald Short (Terri). Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Interment will be in Woodland Church Cemetery.
