Chloie Watt Potter, age 90 of Pine Grove, passed away peacefully with her beloved family by her side on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The Edmonson County native was born on July 1, 1934 to the late Everett and Irene Lay Watt. She was married to James Edward “Ed” Potter, who also preceded her in death.
Chloie was not just a homemaker. She was the heart of her home. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family, always ensuring that they were supported and surrounded by love. Chloie loved to cook, and fix meals that brought family and friends together around the dining table, where laughter and stories were shared. She was a member of Pine Grove United Baptist Church. She leaves to honor her memory— her sons, Terry Jaggers (Karen), Mark Jaggers and James Potter, all of Pine Grove; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; a special daughter, Tammy Duncan (Walter); special niece, Marsha Lillpop (Phillip), along with extended family members who she cherished. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Jaggers; daughter-in-law, Beverly Potter and great-great granddaughter, Jordan Serenity Thomas. Interment will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
