Donna Simmons, age 74

Donna Simmons, age 74 of Wingfield, departed this life on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence.  The Edmonson County native was born on February 8, 1947 to the late Barnie R. and Bonnie Logsdon Poteet.  She was married to Bennie “Buck” Simmons, who survives.

Donna retired from Kellwood and Nyloncraft, and was a member of Wingfield United Baptist Church. 

Besides her husband, she leaves to honor her memory-- two daughters, Sheila Madison (Chris) and Tammy Pandolfi (James), all of Wingfield; ten grandchildren, Cassie Carpenter, Chelsea Childress (Daniel), Cameron Slaughter, Chloe Pandolfi, Kenslie Pandolfi, Ethan Madison, Elle Madison, Jordan Tinsley, Laura Harris (B.J.) and Josh Tinsley; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Glass; a special nephew, Shawn Glass (Shannon), along with several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Andrew and Josh Basham and one nephew, Floyd Glass.
