Douglas “Mack” Watkins, 79

Douglas “Mack” Watkins, 79, of Brownsville passed away Monday March 14, 2022 at his home.
 
The Logan County native was a heavy equipment operator for Scotty’s and Southern Kentucky Concrete and a member of New Home General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late James Watkins and Mary Grimes Watkins. He was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Lynn Watkins and a daughter, Cynthia Adonna Watkins.
 
Funeral services will held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Home Cemetery. Visitation will take place 10:30 AM-2:00 PM Thursday.
 
Surviving are his wife, Judy Cummings Watkins; a son Doug Watkins (Jackie) of Louisville; three brothers, Billy Watkins (Jackie) and Glenn “Buddy” Watkins both of Auburn and David Watkins (Cheryl) of Bowling Green; a sister, Barbara Pendleton (Steve) of Auburn; two grandchildren, Robin Watkins (Danny Dowell) of Louisville and Sarah Watkins of Beaverton, OR; two great grandchildren, Liam Watkins and Grayson Watkins; and several nieces and nephews.
