Edna May Lindsey, 89, of Brownsville passed away at 2:57 PM Saturday July 6, 2019 at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a retired grocery store clerk, a member of Rocky Hill Chapter 279 Order of Eastern Star and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Carl Wilbur Lindsey and Anna Marie Duvall Lindsey and the wife of the late Estel Ray Lindsey. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Allen Lindsey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, 1-8 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM Wednesday.
Surviving are four sons, Larry Lindsey (Norma) of Owensboro, Gary Lindsey (Bonnie) of Bee Spring, Danny Lindsey of Rockfield and Joey Lindsey (Anna) of Brownsville; a sister, Evelyn Williams of Frankfort; a sister-in-law, Betty Lindsey of Franklin, IN; nine grandchildren, Taylor Lindsey, Amie Lindsey, Melissa Shuffett (David), Jason Lindsey, Dana Carr (Joshua), Stephanie Borowski (Bobby), Billy J. Lindsey (Kassie), Angelia Kay Lindsey and James Lindsey; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
