Robert Franklin "Frank" Spainhoward, 78, of Sweeden passed away at 8:46 AM Thursday June 8, 2017 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was a paint and auto body repair specialist, a member of Edmonson County Saddle Club and a member of New Salem General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Norman Spainhoward and Flora Lindsey Spainhoward. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Spainhoward; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Spainhoward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Brownsville General Baptist Church with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 10 AM Sunday at the church. Surviving are his wife, Linda Decker Spainhoward; five daughters, Sheila Pike (Tim) of Windyville; Aimee Luis (Rodrigo) of Bowling Green, Alison Sanders and Bridget Harrison (Jeff) both of Brownsville and Jennifer Spainhoward of Anneta; two sons, Eric Spainhoward (Lesley) of Chalybeate and Brad Spainhoward (Ashley) of Bowling Green; four brothers, Danny Spainhoward of Sweeden, Lewade Spainhoward (Vicki) of Scottsville, Johnny Spainhoward (Pam) of Glasgow and Vertran Spainhoward (Linda) of Lindseyville; 10 grandchildren, Josh Webb, Jonathan Webb, Sawyer Spainhoward, Griffin Spainhoward, Layke Sanders, Ethen Luis, Owen Still, Ava Luis, Ellie Claire Spainhoward and Charly Beville; and a great grandchild, Ty Webb.
