Picture
Glen Rogers Wilson, age 84, of Park City, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. Glen was born on August 21, 1941, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to Ida Bell White Wilson and Cash Green Wilson.

He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-four years, Bonita Carol Floyd Wilson, whom he married on February 18, 1961. Also surviving are their three children: Glenna Wilson Sexton of Kankakee, Illinois; Timothy W. Wilson of Decatur, Georgia; and Lori Wilson Green (Todd) of Park City, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Marc Sexton (Tameeka), Jared Sexton (Samantha), Cash Wilson (Amy), Brandi Harris (Chris), Micah Medrano (Ryan), and Chase Green (Waverly); and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Green and Ida Bell Wilson; his brother, Rex Wilson; his sister-in-law, Myrna Wilson; and his son-in-law, Rick Sexton.

Glen and Bonnie came to Park City in 1966, making it their home and establishing lifelong friendships within the community. As a respected business owner of Wilson Electric and Wilson HVAC, he proudly served his clients with integrity and high-quality service. Glen supported his community by serving as city commissioner for six years and was an integral part of coordinating the Heritage Festival and Tractor Show for seven years.

Glen was an avid collector, passionate historian, and contributor to all things Ferguson. He restored more than thirty tractors and implements to show or working condition and guided numerous others in their restoration and repair. He researched in depth the man and line of farming equipment that revolutionized farming forever and contributed his research and knowledge to the Ferguson Enthusiast of North America and its magazine, The Ferguson Furrows.

Glen was a man of integrity and conviction, always ready to offer opportunity and help to anyone who wanted to make the world a better place. He was a man of faith, a devoted family man, and a loyal friend. Glen was talented, creative, and a skilled craftsman. His welded sculptures were true works of art, and you were privileged to be a recipient of one. A philosopher, historian, and collector of old things, he was a man of many interests and trades who loved to share his knowledge. Many friends and loved ones benefited from his years of experience and wisdom. We are all so blessed to have had him touch our lives.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all family, friends, and the community for the love, prayerful support, and kindness shown during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Glen’s memory to Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Park City on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, family and friends are invited to meet on the porch of Wilson’s shop for a Celebration of Life gathering.
