Gordon S. Moody

Gordon S. Moody, age 87, of Brownsville, KY, departed this life on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  The Edmonson County native was born on January 28, 1928 to the late Joseph S. Moody and Nellie Ray Moody. He was married to the late Marguerite Davis Moody.

He was a farmer and former owner of Marguerite's Flower Shop and Davis and Moody Construction. He was a charter member of the Edmonson County Lions Club and Edmonson County Saddle Club, he was also a member of  Pleasant Union United Baptist Church. 

He leaves to honor his memory, one son Mark W. Moody (Mary) of Bowling Green, KY; one grand-daughter Caroline Marguerite Vincent of Brownsville, KY; one grandson, Caleb Lindsey; four step-grandchildren, Lesley Chapman of Bowling Green KY, Leeanna Chapman of Bowling Green, KY, Aaron Chapman of Bowling Green, KY, and Marcus Chapman of Bowling Green, KY; one brother Walter R. Moody of Vero Beach, FL.

Interment will be in Pleasant Union Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.

The family wishes for memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society.
