![]() Harvie Henry Stewart, age 71, of Brownsville, KY, passed away Thursday, (December 31, 2015) at his home in Brownsville. He was born on November 5 1944, in Edmonson Co., KY, the son of the late Wilbur Ray and Ruby White Stewart. He was a construction worker and a mechanic who loved his church, Ford Tractors, playing with his grandchildren and enjoyed playing checkers. He was a member of the Sunny Point Church. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Kerr Stewart of Brownsville; a son, Tommy Stewart (Evonna) of Leitchfield, KY; a daughter, Sharon Denease Stewart of Leitchfield; four grandchildren, Christopher Stewart, Cassaundra Heaverin, Magan Stewart, and Nickolas Heaverin; five sisters, Betty Jean McKinney of Leitchfield, Evelyn Stewart of Bowling Green, KY, Lynna Lucille Ray of Caneyville, KY, Frances Meredith of Bee Spring KY and Hazel Farris of Brownsville KY, two brothers, Paul and Eddie Stewart both of Leitchfield. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Gale Stinson, seven brothers and sisters, Charles Ray, Harold Glenn, Donnie, Albert and Gloria Stewart, Mary Meredith and Noretta Kiper. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (January 3, 2016) at the Sunny Point Church in Brownsville, KY. Bros. Wayne Napier and Damon Lasley will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sunny Point Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Sunny Point Church in Brownsville, KY from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
