Helen Lindsey Beckham, 87

​Helen Lindsey Beckham, age 87, of Brownsville, KY departed this life on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Edmonson Healthcare Center. The Edmonson County, KY native was born on August 20, 1929 to the late George Wright and Lena Inez Gibson Lindsey. She was the devoted wife of the late Joe Kenneth Beckham.

Helen was a housewife and a member of Fairview United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory, four daughters, Lena York (Gary) of Brownsville, KY, Pat Cowles (Richard) of Chalybeate, KY, Brenda Warren of Brownsville, KY, and Barbara Conley of Bowling Green, KY; one sister, Lula Slaughter of Munfordville, KY; three step sons, Kenneth Ray Beckham (Patricia), Tommy Beckham (Sheila) and Freddie Beckham all of Smiths Grove, KY; three step daughters, Debra Morris of Glasgow, KY, Karen Keown (Wally) of Smiths Grove, KY, and Vanessa Carpenter (Jerry) of Smiths Grove, KY; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Wilson; one grandson, Anthony Cowles; five son-in-law's, Robert Warren, Gene Vibbert, Guy Anderson, Joe York and Gary Conley; four brothers, George “June”, Bertie, James and Robert Lindsey and four sisters; Emma Brock, Ruth Wells, Beulah “Sis” Lindsey, and Burnidean Sturgeon.

Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery.
