Our mother, Jacqueline May Ainsworth, born May 6, 1933 took her last breath on Wednesday morning, July 13, 2022. In her 89 years on this earth, she became a mother to 7 children, grandma to 13 grandchildren, and great gram to 11 great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents John Howard Michale and Erma (Mendell) Michael, her three daughters Joyce Meeker, Carol Monaco, and Theresa Leber, her two sisters Betty Lou Gaynor and Judyth Nutter and one brother David Michael.

Jackie was a retired cook from Downey Christian School where she fed both the bellies and souls of students and staff. Mrs. A was always good for a laugh or bit of advice. Mom would say she woke up each morning with a new song in her heart and loved singing fun and silly songs. She loved movies and romance, gift-giving and holidays. She was quite the fashionable lady, always with her fully matching outfits, even when it was just a nightgown and bathrobe.

Jackie loved making people laugh and touched many lives in her time with us. She will be sorely missed by the four children she leaves behind, the family she created and the friends she made. She loved Jesus, prepared herself for Him and was ready to be with Him and her family in Heaven.

Survivors include her two sons Michael Monaco and Thomas Monaco and two daughters Gina Salzman (David) and Cheryl Fiorini (Emil). One brother John Howard Michael (Rose Marie) and thirteen precious grandchildren Rachel, Michael, Jacqueline, Christopher, Anthony, Danielle, Caitlyn, Gregory, Nicholas, Mandee, Justin, Anthony and Angelo. Eleven precious great-grandchildren Alissa, Raelynn, Ava, Ellie, Samuel, Daniel, Hazel, Allie, Lexi, Cree and Jax. Also several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 1:00 pm until time of services at the funeral home.  The family chose cremation.
