Kevin Lee Lindsey, age 42, of Sweeden, departed this life with his family by his side on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on January 12, 1980 to Lona Frances Stewart Lindsey and the late Bro. Elzie G. Lindsey, Jr.
Kevin was saved as a little boy at Pleasant Union United Baptist Church, and remained a member until his passing. He was a 1998 graduate of Edmonson County High School. Kevin worked as a construction worker, was a former employee of Sun Valley Feed Mill and at Mammoth Cave, until his health declined and left him unable to work. He was an avid outdoorsman, and thoroughly enjoyed bow hunting. He spent endless hours at Sanders’ Archery tuning his bow, and even taught some archery classes to the youth in the community. Besides his mother, Lona, he leaves to honor his memory-- his sister, Regina Webb and her husband George; his niece, Autumn Dennison and her husband Derrick all of Sweeden, along with a host of friends and extended family members. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Laymon and Marie Browning Stewart and Maggie and Elzie G. Lindsey, Sr. Interment will be in Pleasant Union Church Cemetery.
