Lendon Ray Robertson, 85, of Bee Spring passed away with family by his side June 1, 2024 at Hospice House in Bowling Green.
The Metcalfe County native was owner and operator of Nolin Vault Co. and founder and pastor of Harvest Time Church. He was a son of the late Theodore “Bill” Robertson and Ella Rhinehart Robertson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Saling; a grandson, Matthew Ervin; three great grandchildren, Grant Burden, Avery Burden and Rhett Burden; five brothers, Travis Robertson, Robert Lee Robertson, Henry Robertson, Jimmy Robertson and Bobby Robertson; and four sisters, Dorothy Hawkins, Avis Jewell, Ruth Beard and Doris Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Harvest Time Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place 12-10 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the church. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Lorene Young Robertson; a daughter, Anita Downs (John) of Bee Spring; a son, Jeffrey “J.D.” Saling of Bee Spring; four grandchildren, Josh Ervin (Ashley) of Anneta, Brittany Burden (Dakota), Benjamin Burden (Carli) and Elijah Saling all of Bee Spring; six great grandchildren, Hollie Hagan, Kyleigh Ervin, Abbagail Burden, Addalyn Carson, Jonah Carson and Madelynn Stone; and several nieces and nephews.
