L.P. Graham loved adventure and spending time with his family. This was proven true when both a grand and great granddaughter were on an adventure with him Saturday, July 25, 2015 when a massive heart attack claimed his life at the age of 85. He was exactly where he would have wanted to be and we are thankful he did not suffer.
The Warren County native and life long resident of Edmonson County was the son of the late Herschel and Annie Logan Graham. He was preceeded in death by his wife, of 65 years, Lucille Glass Graham, a son Lonnie W. Graham, a grand-daughter Heather Renee Graham, and his sister Dorothy Logan. He was a member at the Shadyland Church of Christ. He was an amazing husband, father, papaw, brother, neighbor and friend. He will surely be missed. Survivors include a large family built on faith and love consisting of a son Harold Wayne Graham and wife Becky; three daughters, Dora Ann Cowles and husband William; Connie Jo Colson and husband Marc, Eva Lou Meredith; a daughter-in-law, Eva Shannon Graham; ten grandchildren, Maria Leach (Jeff), Stacie Decker (Bill), DeWayne Cowles, Sheri Ann Jones, Jason Colson (June), Eric Colson (Emily), Stephanie Woodcock (Ronnie), Samantha Kiernan (John), Tabatha Southard (Denny), John C Meredith (Ashley); 22 great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
