Mary Pedigo Poole, age 77

Mary Pedigo Poole, age 77 of Cave City, KY departed this life on Thursday, May 19 at her residence.  The Barren County native was born on April 29, 1945 to the late Lawrence  and Vera Sexton Pedigo.  She was married to Charles Poole, who preceded her in death. 

She was saved when she was thirteen-years-old at Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and later became a member of Big Meadow Missionary Baptist Church.  Mary loved being in church with her family, and would often attend New Hope, Cedar Hill and Rolling Hills Baptist churches. She worked with her husband on the farm and in their home, caring for the needs of her family.

She leaves to honor her memory— two children, Eddie Atkins (Emerlyn) of Westmoreland, TN and Elizabeth Ann Sanders (Steve) of Munfordville; six grandchildren, Craig Sanders (Katrina), Chris Atkins (Angie), James Atkins, Bethany Sanders, Mary Atkins and Joseph Atkins; one great-granddaughter, Linzy Atkins; two siblings, Dorothy Carter of Cave City and Gene Pedigo of Park City, along with several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband and parents, she was also predeceased in death by her siblings, Jerry Pedigo, Shirley Pedigo, Ruby Bragg and Nancy Johnson. 

Interment will be in Campground Cemetery.
